Adyar Residence

This 4,200 sq ft residence in Adyar was completed in 2024. The brief called for a quiet apartment-scale renovation for a young family — three bedrooms, a shared study, and a kitchen open to the living room. We kept the structural shell intact and reworked the interior partition lines.

The palette is paper-white walls, oak floors, and a single deep-green accent on the joinery. South-facing glazing is shaded by a slatted timber screen that filters the afternoon sun. Furniture sits low and quiet — most of it built into the architecture rather than placed on top of it.
