Perungudi Industrial Hub

This 118,000 sq ft industrial hub in Perungudi was completed in 2022. The brief required two production halls, an inspection bay, and a small admin block — all under a single roof for shared services. The site is narrow and long, so the buildings are arranged in a row with the service yard at the rear.

The production halls use a steel portal frame with 30m clear spans and 12m eaves. Daylight enters from north-facing clerestory glazing, which cuts artificial-light load without adding heat gain. The admin block is a separate concrete volume placed at the entrance and connected to the halls by a covered walk.
